Welcome to the first post in our “Eat, See, Do” series! Many of our tenants come from all over to settle in the cities that we service. A home is much more than the rooms you rent; it’s the activity and life in the community around you. Here, we’ll share the hottest foods, sights and activities in the area. We’ll kick it off by checking out the community we’re based in – La Crescenta!
Located right off of of Pennsylvania and the 210, AJ Noodles is the highest rated noodle joint in the area on Yelp, and it’s SIG staff-approved! One of our supervisors, Stephanie, couldn’t stop raving about this one-of-a-kind theater experience! The Glendale Centre Theatre has a great slate this season, and this extremely well-received show is a great way to kick off the year. Catch Black Comedy soon, as it will close at the end of next week!
Description: “Black Comedy has been called the “funniest play in the English language!” And it is! Brindsley, a young sculptor, and his fiancée Carol have borrowed some expensive, antique furniture from his neighbor Harold’s flat without his permission in order to impress an elderly millionaire art collector coming to view Brindsley’s work. When the power fails and Harold and Brindsley’s Ex-girlfriend show up unexpectedly, things rapidly disintegrate into disaster for him. A must see!”
