We Believe In Green
Managing homes in the lush Foothills of Southern California, SIG knows the importance of keeping our environment clean and green. That is why we have taken steps to ensure that our business helps the environment in every way we can. At SIG, we:
- Use top-of-the-line management software that offers online payment options for tenants, electronic fund transfers for owners, monthly reports sent via email, on-line rental applications, electronic document signing, and much more. This cuts down on our use of paper checks, receipts, envelopes, reports, and other items that needlessly use paper products. We’re not entirely paper-free, but we’re heading there!
- Have dozens of solar panels on the roof of our La Crescenta office. We have a 30 Kilowatt system to reduce our footprint.
- Hold open houses and use self-showing lockboxes instead of individual appointments in order to cut down on mileage driving to and from our listings, reducing harmful carbon emissions. When we do need to drive somewhere, we always take one of our two company-owned Priuses.
